45 award-winning students of the Cambodian Islamic Education Institute in Kampong Chhnang Province receive
certificates for primary and secondary education for the academic year 2023-2024.
Kampong Chhnang: 45 award-winning students of the Cambodian Islamic Education Institute in Kampong Chhnang
Province, students of the 7th generation of secondary education and students of the 10th generation of primary
education, received certificates after successfully completing their studies. The ceremony was presided over by
His Excellency Mam Malay, a member of the Provincial Council, and was attended by Mr. Sheikh Adulazi Ali
Al-Mohannadi, a representative of the State of Qatar, and Mr. Sheik Tuma, Director of the Cambodian Islamic
Education Institute, on July 1, 2025 in Orussey commune, Kampong
Tralach district, Kampong Chhnang province.
Mr. Seuk Tam, Director of the Islamic Education Institute of Cambodia, and Mr. Ali Al-Mohannadi, Representative
of the Qatari Charity, said: The Islamic Education Institute of Cambodia, Kampong Chhnang Province, located in
Orussey Commune, Kampong Tralach District, has been operating since 2007, with levels ranging from primary school,
junior high school and continuing to develop high school. In addition to being a general knowledge school, the
institute has trained in sewing, computer, agriculture and animal husbandry. The institute has a vision to promote
women in the Islamic community to be capable, improve family life and develop families better. In fact, today, the
Islamic Education Institute of Cambodia, Kampong Chhnang Province, distributed certificates to 45 winning students
in the 10th generation of primary school, 29 students, and 16 students in the 7th generation of secondary school.
Speaking on the occasion, HE Mam Malay, a member of the Kampong Chhnang Provincial Council, stated that: Through
the institute's report, it is reflected that the Islamic education sector in Kampong Chhnang province has been
moving along with the national education system, especially in response to the reform of the youth and sports
education sector to build human resources with quality and full capabilities with knowledge and skills.
HE further stated: Based on the achievements and attention from the Royal Government, the Cambodian Islamic
community has begun to strengthen the education system at the local level, with the openness of the Royal
Government of Cambodia in establishing relations with Islamic communities in friendly countries in the region and
around the world, making the Islamic community more capable of having school buildings, building educational
achievements, and contributing to the continuous development of the education sector in Cambodia.
HE Mam Malay advised the award-winning students to continue to strive to continue learning to become good human
resources in the national society to participate in the development of the country for continued progress.
On that occasion, the presidency awarded high school and primary school diplomas to 45 winning students, along
with cash prizes and gifts to the participating Muslim citizens.
